Interim Dean Georgia Perakis provided alumni at MIT Sloan Reunion 2024 with updates on the state of the school and told everyone how proud she was of them.

In 2024, the MIT Sloan alumni community stayed busy doing everything from founding venture capital firms to creating opportunities for second-chance hiring.

Thousands of graduating students, alumni, and their families came to campus at the end of May for the 2024 commencement ceremonies and Reunion celebrations. Among the returning graduates were 1,404 Sloanies and their guests who attended MIT Sloan Reunion 2024.

According to Grace Ueng, SB ’87, founder and CEO of Savvy Growth, the conventional wisdom on happiness and success is all wrong.

Many of the MIT alumni who created the TravlerPack sleeping bag for Syrian refugees, including Sloanie Vick Liu, SB ’20, will return to campus for a special in-person ceremony celebrating the Classes of 2020 and 2021.

The annual networking event brings together local alumni and students from all degree programs to strengthen personal and professional ties across the MIT Sloan community.
