From a new climate policy center to slow fashion and circular plastic, MIT Sloan is at the cutting edge of innovation.

The energy of the MIT Sloan alumnae community was palpable in 2022.

MIT Sloan alumni discussed the challenges and opportunities that result from exploding energy demand in real estate at MIT Sloan Reunion 2024.

A majority of people in the Democratic Republic of Congo lack access to electricity. At Nuru, Juliana Kerrest, MBA ‘18, Chief People and Sustainability Officer, is dedicated to enhancing connectivity. Nuru builds mini solar grids allowing those in remote areas to tap into a power source.

“MIT Sloan was the only school I applied to—it was genuinely my dream school," says Mike Sanchez, MBA ‘25. "I'm incredibly grateful to be here.”

Thousands of graduating students, alumni, and their families came to campus at the end of May for the 2024 commencement ceremonies and Reunion celebrations. Among the returning graduates were 1,404 Sloanies and their guests who attended MIT Sloan Reunion 2024.

Over 1,100 members of the alumni community came together in early June to reconnect and continue learning at the 2021 MIT Sloan Virtual Reunion.

“MIT Sloan was my first and only choice,” says David Brown, MBA ’25.

The MIT Sloan MBA Class of 2020 persevered despite a global pandemic, an increasingly difficult job market, and many other ongoing challenges. New graduates like Carolina Goncebat, MBA ’20, have since succeeded in making their mark in numerous industries across the globe.

MIT Sloan Reunion provides alumni the opportunity to reconnect with one another and get back into the classroom.
