Resumo
O Fishbanks é uma simulação multijogador baseada na web na qual os participantes fazem o papel de pescadores e procuram maximizar seu patrimônio líquido enquanto, competem com outros jogadores e lidam com variações nos estoques de pescado e na captura. Os participantes compram, vendem e encomendam barcos, decidem onde pescar e negociam entre si. Como opções de política disponíveis, os instrutores podem promover leilões de barcos, conceder autorizações, estabelecer cotas etc.
Objetivo do aprendizado
Dar aos alunos a oportunidade de aprender sobre os desafios de gerir recursos de forma sustentável numa situação de recursos comuns, com uma dinâmica de recursos realista.
