Ryan Harth
Ryan Harth is an active-duty US Army Special Forces officer and former enlisted Force Recon Marine who spent the last two years as the Director and Deputy Director for the US Army Special Operations Command, Artificial Intelligence Division. Previous assignments include serving as a Force Recon operator, platoon leader (Iraq), Special Forces operator, Jedburgh, Special Forces headquarters company commander, Special Forces/Special Activities Troop Commander, and Battalion Chief of Staff.
Ryan has deployed many times since 1999 for combat, contingency operations, and training. Some locations include Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Ryan was stationed in Okinawa Japan for over three years continuously while on active duty in the US Marine Corps and traveled to nearly every corner of Southeast Asia both with the military and for leisure.
Ryan received a Master of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Post Graduate School (NPS) and is a current graduate student at Northwestern University earning a Master of Science in Data Science with a focus on Data Engineering. Ryan has numerous technical, agile, and project management certifications and has managed programs and projects both technical and non-technical in the USA and abroad for over 15 years.
Ryan is an ultra-runner, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, and most importantly a father to two little girls and a little boy. Ryan has been married to his best friend, Sharon, for 17 years.
