Would a government bailout of Spirit Airlines really be worth it?

Sloan Distinguished Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Director of the MIT GCP Deborah Lucas had a conversation with Marketplace on the Trump administration's negotiations to bail out  Spirit Airlines. While some cases warrant bailouts, she said the struggling airline is "already toast, and you're just trying to resurrect them from the dead, if you will,” said Deborah Lucas.
