Jackie Selby, EMBA '21, hosts a conversation with Christie Zarkovich, Chief Administrative, Finance, and Investment Officer of the Health Forward Foundation, on how the institutional investor community has evolved its integration of ESG and socially conscious investing for impact and sustainability.
Christie J. Briscoe Zarkovich has spent 25 years in the institutional investment industry primarily focused on investing foundation and endowment portfolios. She currently serves as Chief Administrative, Finance, and Investment Officer for Health Forward Foundation in Kansas City. Prior to joining Health Forward, she was the Head of Impact and Mission-Related Investment Research and member of the Research Leadership Team at Cambridge Associates where she led thematic and manager research, spoke and wrote frequently about intuitional impact investing, and worked with non-profit and family office clients with assets ranging from $50 million to over $10 billion. She also served as a senior member of the investment team at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee for Perella Weinberg’s Agility OCIO platform, and began her career at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Christie has specific expertise in derivatives and alternative investments, impact investments, and asset allocation and risk management.
Christie is a CFA Charterholder, received her B.S. from The Colorado School of Mines and her M.S. Finance and MBA from the University of Denver.
