Shuman Ghosemajumder is co-founder and CEO of Reken, an AI cybersecurity startup. He was previously CTO of Shape Security, which he helped build from a pre-product startup to the leading AI platform protecting the world’s largest banks, airlines, and federal agencies against sophisticated bots. Shape was acquired for $1B in 2020 by F5, where Shuman became Global Head of AI. He was previously Global Head of Product for Trust & Safety at Google, where he led the development of products to protect 1B+ users and advertisers. He joined Google in 2003 as one of the early product managers for AdSense and was part of the team that launched Gmail in 2004. Prior to that, he received his MBA from MIT Sloan in 2002, where his master’s thesis proposed the idea of unlimited music subscription services. In 2011, he was named by the Boston Globe to their MIT150 list of the top MIT innovators of all time.
