Oliver H. Xie is an incoming Assistant Professor of Finance at MIT Sloan.
His research in international finance and macrofinance examines how firms choose the currency of invoicing in international trade and how they raise debt across multiple currencies to minimize their cost of capital.
He received his PhD from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Before graduate school, he earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Chicago and worked as a research analyst at AQR Capital Management.
