Peter Weinberg has spent his 40+ year career in financial services. He worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. for approximately 20 years where he was a partner, the co-head of the Global Investment Banking Division and CEO of Goldman Sachs International, based in London. He sat on the firm’s Management Committee, led the European Management Committee, and co-headed the Partnership Committee. He then co-founded Perella Weinberg Partners 20 years ago, an independent M+A advisory and restructuring firm which went public in 2021. The firm now has 700 employees and 70 partners in 11 offices around the world. He currently serves as a partner and Chairman of the board of directors.
Outside of his professional life, Peter sits on the executive committee at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the board of the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center at Columbia University and the Executive Committee of the Atlantic Council in Washington DC.
He grew up in a suburb of New York City and graduated from Claremont McKenna College and Harvard Business School. He is married to Debby, has three boys, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren.
