Projects and Research in the Latin American Region

The MIT Sloan Latin America Office (MSLAO) facilitates and supports research, teaching, and knowledge-sharing opportunities in Latin America for MIT and MIT Sloan faculty and researchers. To support our primary goal of promoting long-term collaboration between MIT and Latin America, we award seed funds each year to support projects focused on or in Latin America. The MSLAO prioritizes projects that will lead to innovative research and have the potential to obtain additional government, foundation, or private funding.
