Case Studies
The case studies available from the MIT Sloan Teaching Library are developed by our faculty and are a fundamental piece of the MIT Sloan curriculum.
Some of the case studies in this collection highlight the decision-making process in a business or management setting. Other cases are descriptive or demonstrative in nature, showcasing something that has happened or is happening in a particular business or management environment.
Teaching case studies are meant to spur debate among students rather than promote a particular point of view or steer students in a specific direction by giving students the opportunity to practice their decision-making skills in a business or management setting. They provide scenarios and situations that challenge students to carefully consider context and data as they work to think through what they would or would not do in these environments.
