Master of Finance
Optional Concentrations
MFin students can deepen their expertise by pursuing a concentration in one of five areas: Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Financial Engineering, Climate and Social Impact Finance, or FinTech. While concentrations are not required for graduation, they allow students to tailor their academic experience to specific career goals and areas of interest.
The concentration requirements are in addition to the MFin degree requirements. Courses used to fulfill MFin degree requirements cannot also count toward a concentration. The only exceptions are 15.455 and 15.457 for the Financial Engineering concentration, and 15.453 for the Climate and Social Impact Finance concentration.
