MIT Sloan’s Law Unit offers courses that explore the various areas of business and technology-related law.
They are designed to prepare managers and entrepreneurs to exercise effective leadership and judgment in confronting the law-sensitive issues they will face as they guide their organizations and plan their own careers.
The courses in the law program focus on legal aspects of:
- general management,
- entrepreneurship,
- innovation and cutting-edge technologies,
- finance and complex deals,
- and intellectual property.
The offerings reflect the diverse interests of students in the MIT Sloan and broader MIT communities. This includes those who are directed towards careers in well-established companies and organizations, those who are directed towards more entrepreneurial ventures, those with a U.S.-focus, and those with a more transnational orientation.
