About
Sarah Hosein is a Lecturer and Executive Leadership Coach at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Her background is in strategy, innovation, and operations across health systems in the UK, US, and Sierra Leone. She has managed clinical services, strategy implementation, and innovation teams, including at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust in London, and the King's Center for Global Health in Freetown. In the US, she has held leadership roles at Boston Medical Center and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, and at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York.
At MIT Sloan, Sarah co-teaches Teams Lab (15.337) alongside Nelson Repenning and coaches through the MIT Leadership Center. She developed and co-leads the MIT Women's League Circles, a peer mentorship program that pairs small groups of women in structured, facilitated conversation over six months to build connection across the MIT community. She also runs her own executive coaching practice and is a consultant at MJC Consulting Group, advising organizations on large-scale organizational and technology change. She holds credentials from the International Coaching Federation.
Sarah grew up in a multicultural family across Trinidad and Tobago, Wales, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, an experience that shaped her interest in how people navigate identity and change across cultures. She holds a BSc in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics, an MSc in International Management from King's College London, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she was a Sloan Fellow.
