The entertainment, media, and sports industries are in the midst of a massive transformation due to seismic shifts in technology, audience behavior, and business models. The incumbents are being forced to adapt to changing market realities, while new entrants are seeking to upend traditional ways of doing business. Meanwhile, audiences now have seemingly infinite options on how to spend their finite time and money. The story of how the future shakes out is still being written. 

Entertainment, Media, and Sports Lab (EMS-Lab) parachutes students into the dynamic ecosystem of the entertainment, media, and sports industries. Students will have the hands-on opportunity to work with host organizations. Collaboratively, they will grapple with and contribute to solving real problems in the creative industries. They will apply the strategic, analytical, leadership, and communication skills they are learning and refining at MIT Sloan to a different context, one that for many of them will be an area of deep passion and curiosity.
