MIT Sloan ranks No. 1 in QS Global MBA Rankings 2027
The school earns the top spot globally for the second year in a row for excellence in employability, thought leadership, and alumni outcomes.
The MIT Sloan School of Management has been ranked No. 1 in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, securing the top position among 423 full-time MBA programs evaluated worldwide. The ranking recognizes MIT Sloan's strength across key dimensions including employability, thought leadership, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, return on investment, and diversity.
Released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the annual ranking evaluates MBA programs based on a combination of employer and academic surveys and institutional data, with particular emphasis on graduate employability and career outcomes. QS awarded MIT Sloan an overall score of 100, ranking it ahead of Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and The Wharton School.
QS assesses MBA programs using five core indicators: employability (40%), return on investment (20%), entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes (15%), thought leadership (15%), and class and faculty diversity (10%). MIT Sloan performed particularly strongly in employability, thought leadership, and entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes.
