Students are required to attend in-person classes on campus two evenings per week. It is anticipated that students will complete a small portion (about 10%) of their coursework online. Each semester, students will enroll in 2 to 4 courses, with each course meeting once per week in a rotating 3-hour block schedule. In addition, there will be several intensive weeks throughout the two years. Weekend courses are not offered. 

Students should plan to complete the degree in two years. The program is designed as a cohort-based model with the intention that all students matriculate at the same time and move through the program together. 

No. All incoming students will begin the program in the fall of each year.

At this time, students may not transfer from the Evening MBA Program into the traditional MBA Program (or vice versa) after enrollment. Students admitted to the Evening MBA Program are expected to remain in that program for the duration of their degree.

Yes. Evening MBA students will have access to all school-wide programming, including clubs, conferences, and events.

Successfully balancing a full-time job with a rigorous academic program requires a meaningful commitment of time and energy. Students should expect to dedicate time outside of the classroom each week to coursework, reading, and group projects, and success will be dependent on time management, organization, and setting aside consistent study time.

We encourage prospective students to think carefully about their work schedule, personal commitments, and support system when evaluating if this program is the right fit. While the experience can be demanding, it is designed to be manageable for motivated professionals.

Because the program is designed with working professionals in mind, we require students to discuss the program's schedule and attendance expectations with their employers before enrolling. With employer support, the goal is for students to adjust their work commitments as needed to accommodate required on-campus coursework.

We understand that occasional absences may occur due to work emergencies, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In these situations, in-person class sessions are recorded and made available to students who are unable to attend. However, these recordings are intended only for exceptional circumstances and are not a substitute for regular class attendance.

The Evening MBA is designed for working professionals, and students are expected to maintain full-time employment throughout the program. However, we recognize that career transitions and changes in employment status can occur during a student's MBA journey.

If you are laid off or experience another unexpected change in employment, you may continue in the program. We encourage you to connect with your program advisor as soon as possible to discuss your individual circumstances, available resources, and any potential impact on your academic plan. If your change in employment affects your ability to finance the program, you may be eligible to explore options such as a leave of absence.

Evening MBA candidates are similar in profile to traditional MBA candidates in terms of academic strength, leadership experience, and career accomplishments. The primary distinction is that Evening MBA students are expected to be employed full-time while completing the program. The Executive MBA (EMBA) Program is a 20-month program designed for mid-career professionals with 10+ years of experience, and on average, 17 years of experience. The Evening MBA curriculum is intentionally designed to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded management education on its own. All core courses will be taken with the Evening MBA cohort.  While requests to enroll in daytime electives may occasionally be considered on a case-by-case basis, students should not expect daytime coursework to be a regular part of the program experience.
