Why the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA? Here are insights from a social media tradition
In 2022, the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA launched #FellowFridays, a social media campaign showcasing a different member of the community each week. The goal was to create a sense of community while celebrating the diversity of our cohort. In 2026, it has become a defining part of the Sloan Fellow experience.
“#FellowFridays is such a lovely tradition that we do at the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA program. Every day that I spend at MIT Sloan School of Management I love it more and more, and feel a sense of belonging,” Sarah Hosein, SFMBA ‘24, posted on LinkedIn as she shared her feature in the campaign. Each week, students are eager to find a different classmate highlighted, ready to show support and celebrate a friend.
Throughout the years, #FellowFridays has provided our community with a diverse playlist of entrance songs, a vast amount of food we now want to try, and other fun facts that show the true diversity of the cohort. It also gave us insight into why mid-career leaders choose this program.
