Double Major: 15-1 Management + Course 20 Biomedical Engineering

This roadmap is an ‘MIT student optimized’ guide for structuring your schedule. Course 15 always encourages you to choose courses based upon interest, not by which ever checks off the most boxes. Please read the footnotes for additional options and email ugeducation@sloan.mit.edu or come see us in the Program Office (E52-150 Suite 133) to discuss.

  1. 14.01 is a HASS subject.15.0111 is not a HASS subject. If students take15.0111, the 9 units will count toward the 180 units beyond GIRs and students will need to take another HASS subject.
  2. Up to two Course 20 courses or non-Course 15 courses can also count as 15-1 Concentration Electives provided these subjects form an intellectually coherent 15-1 Concentration.
  3. Joint Course 15 HASS subjects (15.0201J, 15.037J, 15.039J, 15.238J, and 15.302J) can count toward the HASS requirement and also towards the minimum three Course 15-1 Concentration Electives provided these subjects form an intellectually coherent 15-1 Concentration.
  4. All core prerequisite Course 20 subjects must be competed with a C or higher in order to move on to the more advanced Course 20 subjects.
