Sebastien is the Associate Director of Action Learning at MIT Sloan and an accomplished educator with over 7 years of experience in product management, instructional design, and media & technology law. He is passionate about creating highly effective tools that support educators and embody educational best practices in the pursuit of a more just and equitable world. Before coming to MIT, he was a product manager in Pearson’s Innovative Learning Solutions group, working to create a classroom engagement tool to encourage instructors to create meaningful, data-rich interactions with their students. He was an educator at a startup charter school and was recognized by the Florida Department of Education and the Governor of Florida as among the “best and brightest” educators in the state. He earned his MEd from Harvard University with a focus on technology, innovation, and education. He also holds a JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law with a certificate in intellectual property law and a BA in music from Florida State University. In his spare time, Sebastien loves to play the piano and has been making the most of the New England hiking scene.
