MIT Sloan Senate
The MIT Sloan Student Senate is the main interface between the MIT Sloan student body and the faculty and administration. Its goal is to represent the student community in enhancing the MIT Sloan experience, in order to make it as rewarding as possible.
The Senate represents students across all MIT Sloan programs, including MBA, Master of Finance, MIT Sloan Fellows, Executive MBA, Leaders for Global Operations, and Master of Science in Management Studies. Overseen by Student Life, the Senate works in partnership with the student body and the school's staff, faculty, and alumni.
The Senate is divided into formal subcommittees that address various issues around the school: Academic, Admissions, Alumni Relations, Clubs, OneMIT, and the MIT Sloan Experience. Several informal subcommittees usually form each year around particular student interests and have included topics such as professional standards and career development.
