Looking Back on MIT Sloan Reunion

By

Every year, thousands of alumni and their guests converge on Cambridge to attend MIT Sloan Reunion.

They come from around the world to reconnect with classmates, learn new lessons from faculty, and forge new friendships that span professional interests and graduation years.

Or, as the late David Schmittlein, former John C Head III Dean (2007-2024) and a Professor of Marketing, said during his “State of the School” address in 2022, “I’m grateful that you care enough about MIT Sloan to come to Reunion to be with each other, and that you want to know how the school is doing.”

Even when the global spread of COVID-19 caused the cancelation of an in-person Reunion in 2020 and replaced it with the first-ever MIT Sloan Virtual Reunion. “As always, your dedication to the school and each other serves as a powerful reminder of how wonderful this community is,” said Kathryn Hawkes (Senior Associate Dean, External Engagement).
