Andrew Husband

The 2026 MIT 24-Hour Challenge on March 12 was an incredible success across the Institute and the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Over 10,000 supporters from around the globe made gifts to MIT totaling more than $5.65 million.

At MIT Sloan, 680 alumni and friends came forward to support students and faculty through the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. The community reached this year’s microchallenge goal and raised over $745K—a $200K increase from 2025. By meeting the microchallenge, the MIT Sloan community unlocked an additional $375,000 from four generous alumni donors.

“Thank you for your unwavering commitment and for making an extraordinary impact,” says Kathryn Hawkes (Senior Associate Dean, External Engagement). “Your MIT 24-Hour Challenge gift creates opportunities for MIT Sloan students and faculty to explore new ideas and shape the future.”

During last year’s MIT 24-Hour Challenge, 616 community members gave over $500,000 through the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. These gifts greatly impacted the MIT Sloan community by supporting student-led conferences, student clubs, Action Learning labs, thousands of hours of career coaching, and much more.

The ongoing generosity of alumni and friends like you during the 2026 MIT 24-Hour Challenge will continue to support these efforts—both now and in the future.
