Center for Development & Entrepreneurship at MIT

The Center runs a series of programs including:

  • The Student Fellowship, which is a competitive program designed to help aspiring student entrepreneurs maximize their likelihood of success as principled, impactful leaders in global growth markets.
  • The Foundry Fellowship, a first-of-its-kind fellowship for Africa-based founders who have scaled innovation- driven companies and find themselves at an inflection point in their entrepreneurial journey. The Fellowship brings Fellows together to consider their present and future leadership roles as entrepreneurs, investors, policy influencers and thought leaders building entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems.
  • We design off campus bootcamps that expose entrepreneurs and innovators to MIT expertise and frameworks on innovation ecosystems.

    •  244 entrepreneurs in Africa have completed our bootcamps offered in collaboration with innovation ecosystem stakeholders and MIT faculty.
