MIT GCFP 11th Annual Conference
Consumer Finance: New Perspectives on Policies and Products
This hybrid event will be held in-person and via livestream.
This year, the MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy's annual conference brings together leading academics, policymakers and practitioners to explore issues on the theme of consumer finance. The focus will be on how new technologies are reshaping consumer financial products, and the implications for how regulatory policies for consumers must be rethought and reshaped.
The conference will begin the afternoon of Thursday, October 24 with panel discussions, followed by a dinner and keynote speaker Adrienne Harris, Superintendent NYS Department of Financial Services and former Special Assistant to President Obama for Economic Policy. Our Golub Distinguished Senior Fellow Janice Eberly will moderate. The program will continue the following morning on Friday, October 25 with paper sessions followed by a lunch and keynote speaker John Campbell (Harvard University).
