The 2025 MIT 24-Hour Challenge on March 13 was an incredible success across the Institute and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
9,773 supporters from around the globe made gifts to MIT totaling more than $4.9 million.
At MIT Sloan, 616 alumni and friends came forward to support students and faculty through the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. The community reached the goal and raised over $500,000 through the microchallenge. They also unlocked an additional $180,000 from five generous alumni donors.

“Thanks so much for making a difference for the MIT Sloan community,” says Kathryn Hawkes (Senior Associate Dean, External Engagement). “Your gift during the MIT 24-Hour Challenge creates opportunities for students and faculty to explore the unknown and invent the future.”
During last year’s MIT 24-Hour Challenge, 624 community members gave over $367,000 through the MIT Sloan Annual Fund. These gifts greatly impacted the MIT Sloan community by supporting student-led conferences, student clubs, Action Learning labs, thousands of hours of career coaching, and much more.
The ongoing generosity of alumni and friends like you during the 2025 MIT 24-Hour Challenge will continue to support these efforts—both now and in the future.
