Hosts benefit from Engine Lab by having an interdisciplinary student team deep-dive on a challenge that they are facing in their startup journey (e.g., market sizing, decision A / B modeling, financing options, product market fit, competitive landscape, techno economic modeling). Essentially, these students can act as a team of outside consultants, helping tackle a specific business problem over the course of the semester. Many are also recruiting for part-time and full-time roles at startups, so the course project can act as a potential recruiting tool.
