This year, the Golub Center's annual conference is on the theme of financial regulation in an era of innovation and disruption. The proliferation of new financial products and trading platforms, together with transformational changes in financial market infrastructure, have been hyper-charged by continuing advances in AI. These developments, and changing attitudes about the proper role of regulation, have created pressing new challenges for regulators charged with promoting financial market stability and protecting investors while at the same time fostering innovation and growth.
The conference will include keynote speakers, moderated panel discussions, and academic papers on the following topics.

Darrell Duffie is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a past President of the American Finance Association.
