CONFERENCE AGENDA

Presenter bios

Governments worldwide increasingly rely on contingent claims such as deposit insurance, too-big-to-fail guarantees, credit support for firms and households, and disaster insurance to accomplish policy goals.

  • What are the micro- and macro-economic consequences of recent policy developments in this area?
  • How should benefits and costs be assessed?
  • How should the risks be quantified and managed?

The conference will bring together leading academics, policymakers and practitioners to explore these issues with a day of panel discussions and paper presentations on September 7, 2023.

This will be a hybrid event. Registration is required for in-person attendance only. Check back here for updates regarding the conference in the coming weeks, including the link to attend remotely, which will be posted on this page closer to the event. Contact Deirdre Wade with questions.
