The Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management (TIES) group at MIT Sloan offers a comprehensive exploration of technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship. For over 40 years, MIT Sloan faculty, including renowned scholars like Pierre Azoulay, Michael A. Cusumano, Danielle Li, and Fiona E. Murray, have led pioneering research and developed a robust curriculum that addresses the management of research, development, and commercialization of innovations. The TIES group also oversees the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, which provides a multidisciplinary curriculum and extensive student activities, including the prestigious MIT $100K business plan competition.
